This week has to go down, I think as many others have said, as a 'spoilt for choice' week. I've been up & down the Deben making images for a panel on the river. I have to say these colourful calm mornings make the river seem like it's in another world of calm serenity. Perhaps we should bottle it and sell it on the streets of a busy city during rush hour! I know where I'd rather be at 7.30am!

What I find surprizing about these really calm mornings on the river is how much detail there is in the foreground water - the bits & pieces that float down on the tide. It adds a surprizing texture to the images that I really like and that gives these images an edge over long exposure images.
